  1. This to formally request that MAGIX examine the RME forum as a best in class example of responsive customer support for profesional and semi-professional products (same product user-based categories as Sequoia and Samplitude).

RME management and people exemplify the timely communicative response and the associated commitment to provide timely technical solutions that are needed to support RME product users in meeting the very demanding needs of the professional and semi-pro audio environment.

Every relevant thread is responded to, even if it's just to say: "Read The Manual"

    Thank you for your consideration.

Part of me wants the 96k to sound worse... being the cheap sort who doesn't want to waste resources! ;-)

I am 64 years old and should not be able to hear any difference, if you ask me (good up to 14kHz in tests clearly), so I am wary of myself falling prey to that famous error of expectation-fulfillment. But it seemed quite obvious last night. Oh my! This is a quandary! :-|

[afterthought] Do the bandwidth filters even apply to the D/A direction? Or do they only come into play during the sampling stage of A/D?

[Edit] Wait - they must -- audiophiles spend hefty amounts to get high-end D/A converters, right?

now try an RME UFX+ and you will be reaching for your credit card

both AD & DA are critical in creating the sought after airy realism

Just click where it has a little clockface and says "x minutes/hours ago"

THANK YOU It's better than before!

for hysterical reasons I'll leave my OP:

    Hi Tom,

Feature request: Load most recent page. (is this an (albeit minor) issue for anyone else)

Is there some way to give us back the ability to go directly to the current (most recent) page for topics with more than one page?

For example this topic has 2 pages, soon to be 3.

When I load my bookmarked forum (Unread Content, Showing all Content) and choose a topic, it loads the 1st page of the post, I then have to scroll to the bottom :

    "<< PREV [1] [2] Page 2 of 2"

and select in this case 2, to reach the current (most recent) page.

It would be nice to make this selection while the list of topics is displayed and save a few paw prints.

Alternately if the most recent page loaded as default, then those seeking history could select the older pages after seeing the newest...

On the "old" forum it was possible to make the selection from the List of topics: "Unread Content, Showing all Content" .

    Thank you!!!

Eclectica studio here... I am locked out too. I get the error "username does not match any username in database"    Maybe its just those who have clearance to the beta area? Since its a different account level. I remember that happening when I was an Admin.

    Hi Tim,

    How Ironic!

  5. I request that Magix management designate a Magix employee to be the moderator for this community.

The moderator will monitor and respond to discussions on a daily basis as part of their "regular" job at Magix.

The moderator will be responsible, authorized, and accountable to provide official guidance and help, including timely responses and status of solutions to software and hardware issues.

  7. Hi filtersweep,

There are actually 7 manuals in the program files/magix/samplitude prox2 (or whatever version you have) directory.

This has been the case for some time, and some of them have not been updated in a while.

They are a good starting point, though samp has many "secret" functionalities that you will only find out about via this illustrious forum:)

    Cleaning restoration suite

    CM firmware update

    Hardware controller

    The Manual

  8. Maybe you should remind Magix that they posted the following statement at the bottom of the webpage mentioned at the bottom of this post:

It is important to us that our products are barrier free. Visually impaired individuals without any hearing loss, should be able to use our audio products.
We have integrated new features to the latest version of Samplitude Pro X2 and Sequoia 13 to assist blind and visually impaired users in using the software to its fullest potential.
