From the mixer you simply drag and drop with your left mouse button, to the desired location. The original insert remains the same. jandrews
In the FX editor (FX button on the channel strip), you can save a multiple plugin chain as a preset. For example you can save your favorite Lead Vocal compression and EQ as a preset.
mathieujm
To copy all of one track effect settings : - Select the track to be copied - Track/Track effects/Copy track effects setting - Select the destination track - Track/Track effects/Paste track effects setting Jean-Marie

Unempty
In version 9 you can also do this by drag'n drop between the mixer "FX" buttons of tracks within the same project .Hey, that's neat! I swear, there's a nifty trick every day. It would be really cool if you could do the same with Aux, EQ, Dyn + friends. But especially Aux sends, since it's pretty convenient to be able to replicate send settings. Also, another idea: Since holding shift while dragging plugins rearranges them, perhaps it would be an idea to swap FX chains between tracks if you shift+drag the FX button. This way one can try out a new chain without losing the old one.
Volker
>Hey, that's neat! I swear, there's a nifty trick every day. Or just one day of intensive studying the readme file of version 9, since not everything made it into the manual. >It would be really cool if you could do the same with Aux, EQ, Dyn + friends. >But especially Aux sends, since it's pretty convenient to be able to replicate >send settings. You already can drag the EQ button to another track. AUX intentionally still are left out due to the potential routing problems. Either we ignore these in the future (as with the objects now) or allow any AUX routing. Regards, Volker
Artbluevibe
Is there a way to insert one plugin to ALL TRACKS! ??? with a click of a button. for example if I want to insert fab filter EQ for all tracks before starting to mix, do I have to do one by one? The way I do it is hold control and drag to next track slot. only if theres a faster way. Or do I have to save as a mixer setup?

Just select all tracks in the mixer and add the plugin to a slot, it will be added to all selected tracks. Best, Thomas
