Need to know how to Import Stereo Tracks to Sequoia

Recommended Posts

Hello Members,

I need some help. I recorded a session in Pro Tools, but desire to do the mix in Sequoia (MORE TRACK AVAILIBILITY). I have some Stereo (Left and Right) wave files, but can't seem to get them on the same track . . . Can anyone help me?

Thanks

In PT use the "consolodate files" function. All tracks will now be one file each and all the same length. Open these wave files in Sequoia. Have fun!

Open the files like other wav files and they will open as grouped objects on 2 adjacent tracks. Sequoia does not have the ability to put split stereo files on a single track. If you want interleaved, you'll have to select the objects and have Sequoia export as a stereo file.

...or you can also make use of the Batch Processing, very fast and suitable in order to apply one or several process to groups of files.
