samplitude se 9

Fogive me if i show my ignorance but i could do with some help.

using samplitude se 9 which i got free with computer music mag.

if i record a guitar on track 1

then a vocal on track 2, when i play them both back they are not in sync with each other, and the vocal lags behind.

I am probably doing something silly here can any one help ?

Hi

use ASIO drivers for your sound card or audio interface.

download the manual from the MAGIX website and read at least the introduction to learn to operate this programm.

I came from Cakewalk and was a little bit overwhelmed by the numerous features of SAM.

i have asio already, is it something to do with the buffers ?

You can always adjust the buffer settings and see if it improves.

What is your audio interface and current buffer settings?
