Samp 7.1 and powercore

I just installed a Powercore Element in my pc. The dll files for the powercore are sitting in the Samp VST folder but Samp doesn't make them available in the plug ins dialog page. The dll files don't show up. I also run two UAD-1 cards and those plugin dlls are in the Samp VST folder and work just fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've been trying the 8 demo with Powercore with awful results.

I loaded a couple of TC plug-ins and Samplitude reported CPU usage

at 400% and died.

On the same machine with Cubase I can load 40+ plugs and still

only register 40% CPU usage.

Load the Virus Powercore onto a track and select extra tracks for

the extra outputs. The first track is correctly assigned to Virus1 but

2,3 and 4 are set to another plug-in dll altogether - in this case RealGuitar.dll

As I'm evaluating with a view to purchase I've emailed magix on these issues

but they clearly have a no-reply policy for prospective customers.

So up yours Samplitude

Dave,

With the native effects in Samp, who needs anything else? The PowerCore is an un-neccessary "tow rope".

Sell the PowerSore  on E-Bay, and buy a faster, "fatter" computer.

So where is the Samplitude version of the Virus????

:o

I toatally disagree,i think the PoCo is just great especially with 3rd party plugins like Access Virus(which is a killa) the Sony Oxford Bundle,theMD3 is by far the best Mastering tool available.....of course it cost's a lot.

Greetings

Fred

Hi Dave, what you can do is to assign the midioutput manually.Either in the Vip or Mixer.

Vip-Maximize Track-click on the arrow of the Vsti field and assign the Instrument.

Also check out the Instrument Outputs which you can do one field above.

Mixer-Midi Out you can check on the very top of the mixer (in/rec.)Instument Outputs you can adjust at the very bottom of the Mixer(out).

Greetings

Fred
