After watching the as usual excellent "KRAZNET" video on tempo-mapping a song which hadnt been recorded using a click track ,I set about trying this out as a little exercise.I imported two mono tracks..an acoustic guitar track and a vocal track into Sam Pro X Suite at the default tempo of 120 bpm. The song had about 90 bars which I was able to tempo-map successfully. As I watched each bar playing along to the click in perfect time ,the little time variations for each bar showed in the transport bar. These variations were about between ....113.66bpm...116.04bpm...120.19bpm etc,....My question is ,once Ive tempo-mapped the song ,can I take an average of the songs fluctuating tempo...say for eg....119 bpm in the transport bar so that every bar in the song will play to the click at exactly 119 bpm ????? and the bpm in the transport bar will stay at 119 bpm. I know how its done in pro tools changing audio to tick based and using elastic audio and warp markers etc, so as i like using Sam X Im sure it can be done.....if anyone can inform me, Id be most grateful
thank you,
