  1. There is much confusion with this new marker Mode behaviour. I am talking now about Sequoia: Please also check in the marker Manager, which track the marker is linked to. Enable the column ref track, if it is not visible yet. Then change the track if needed. And the marker link mode works in all object modes and can be enabled independently. Same for link curves to objects. Georg
  2. Now it would be interesting to know which Version @matt_colton_metropolis uses.
  3. edit - object mode - link markers to objects I use Sequoia 16, I do not know if this is valid in Samplitude as well. Maybe it is Sequoia only. Georg
  4. I highly doubt that. Where did you get this impression? Did you try it? If yes, what is the macro command for recalling an OE snapshot? Georg
  5. Object editor snapshots cannot be recalled with a keystroke, I looked for it but did not find any possibility. Maybe it is possible, when anyone finds it, please post it here. Georg
  6. Here you go: osplit omove.volumedown2 omove.volumedown2 omove.volumedown2 omove.volumedown2 omove.volumedown2 omove.volumedown2 Locate program Data, Magix, Sequoia 14, Macros Make a new txt file, paste above text into ti, rename extension to .macro, Assign a shortcut to it. While you are in this folder, look for the macro command list and take a look. All available commands are in there. Be sure to have the correct default fade set for this operation - you can set it in the crossfade editor under presets. You may want to have linear fade. Then either adjust the default crossfade or use osplit.linear and make sure the alternative crossfade is indeed linear. (Also in crossfade editor under presets) Georg
  7. In the Macro command list you find all a available Macros. Look for it in program data . Open an existing macro For reference with the editor. Try it, it is not difficult Georg
  8. There Is a shortcut for lowering or raising volume by 1db. Look for it under :move objects: Of course you can program a macro that does this: split and six times volume down. Look in the macro command list. Not really Documented, but not too hard. Georg
  9. Markers are moved together with the first track if you are rippling or have link objects mode activated. To workaround that, make a new track, move it to first track. If you want place a dummy midi object on it. Now markers are only moved if you move the midi object. Georg
  10. Another trick. Copy vip markers to audio markers And Copy audio markers to vip markers. The combination if these commands can help a lot sometimes. Georg
  11. Markers move with objects on the first track In mouse mode Link objects one track Link objects all tracks. If you want to move only markers make a new track at the top insert an empty or dummy object (eg midi ) and move this dummy object in link objects one track mode. Georg
  12. Using no monitoring provides the destructive Solo mode. Pfl And non destructive solo is only available when using the solo bus. This is known to samdev and hopefully will be changed. I will bring it to their attention again. Georg
  13. And another masterpiece.... Again just smartphones. Thanks for listening. Georg
  14. Sequoia cannot playback intermediate video codecs properly. Unfortunately.... georg
  15. Yes, only from the phones. and reverb of course....
  16. Unfortunately they only used metronomes set to light blinking. Only the conductor had a midi file playing back. The Rest is lots of edits... Georg
  17. 64 Videoclips made by the musicians, I aligned them and mixed it. All done in Sequoia. Was quite a bit of work... https://youtu.be/nZHOJHP33Ps Georg
  18. Very interesting, but as Sebastians post is from 2007, it is strange to revive this thread....
  19. I think if you choose your time signature to be 15/8 , the chosen tempo will be for the eighth notes. Georg
  20. Right click on the Plugin button to open the FX dialog. Change the order there to your taste. The Objects come first, then the mixer. This you cannot change. Georg
  21. Don't think this is possible. Not implemented yet afaik. Georg
  22. No, there is not. But you can assign your own keyboard shortcuts. e.g. to "solo track" assign "S", and for unsolo, aka "Global Solo" "alt+S". Works as fast and works only when you really need it. Georg
