Active Track Selection Colour

Hello,

I´m a new Sam user, coming from Cubase/Nuendo. I really love it, but I have a (silly) question. Can I change the colour of the highlighted lines when I select/activate a track in the VIP? To make it clearer, take a look at the image. There, you can see that the selected track is highlighted in thick orange lines... Can I change that instead of using the default thin black lines?

Thank you!

hi,

strange, I never change anything in Samp, and I always have the red (or orange) lines, not black ...

I can't help, sorry... ;)

Phil

Ummm...weird...Maybe I changed something without knowing it? It could be. Does everyone here have the orange lines??

Thanks for your answer, Phil.

draw or color setup in project properties..

I use a cross betweem nuendo and logic for coloring stuff. B)

Thanks dr.funk, but I've searched the color options in system options->deisgn->colors, and couldn't find anything related to the selection lines colors! :D .

Am I going crazy? ;)

By the way, I have SAM 9.1.

yes, there's nothing about selection line color...

Perhaps it's in relation with the skin used ... I use Synthax Dark Alloy skin.

yes, I just check this point : you use the Default Skin I guess, change for Samplitude 8 or Stargray, and you will see the orange lines.

You will not lose out as the default skin is ... biiiiiiiiiiip :DB)

Phil

Problem solved! I changed the skin and the orange lines appeared. ;)

Thanks Phil and the rest.

The color for the selected track rectangle is in the VIP.ini:

trackselectcolor=255,255,255

The values are from 0 to 255 in RGB (Red, Green and Blue)

so anyone can adjust to taste. The example above is pure

white...lower values=darker and higher values=lighter.

Regards,

Tobben
