Samp10 & Win7 install problem

Recommended Posts

I recently upgraded my PC to a new system running Win7 64-bit and am having trouble getting Samp10 Pro running. Initially, CodeMeter wasn't running so I made the registry entry changes recommended elsewhere and now it seems to be working. However, I now have a different problem. Now I am getting an error that the file dac32.dll is not found.

Is this part of Samp10 or a core Windows component? Where do I get it?

You may need this information too for the codemeter:

Here is the tweak for the vista 64bit codemeter problem:

For Vista / Windows 7 64 please make sure you download and install the 64 bit version of the Codemeter Runtime.

Unfortunately there is an additional problem with Vista / Win764. Most likely there will be missing registry entries after installing the 64 bit runtime.

To solve the issue you can copy all registry entries from

To do so please follow these steps:

Start >| Run | regedit

by right-clicking it, export the whole key to a file

Open this file in a text editor (e.g. notepad)

Save the file again and close it.

Double click the file to transfer the registry entries into your Windows Registry.

If you are still experiencing difficulties, please try to upgrade the firmware of your Codemeter first (instructions you can get from pdf document at proservice@magix.net)
