Does anyone have this combo working?

I can't seem to get it to work with the demo version.

I am ready to switch from Sonar and just want to verify the my main drum tool will work with Samplitude.

Thanks!

Tony,

Yeah, now you can see why I wanted to make sure this tool works.

It's the best drum software out there, IMHO.

If you're using battery already, make sure you get the battery files importer too.

Tony,

Fishkid, yeah that's me <_<

Gotta go around the web and rattle all the doorknbs to get answers sometimes.

I'm so hot to get Samplitude that I couldn't wait to get an answer. Now I just have to decide if I want to pay up front or take the SFR route.

Tony,

Would you mind sharing with me how you got DR-008 to work and how you installed it?

I've tried various things like uninstalling and reinstalling both DR and the Samp demo but no go.

Are you using it as DXi or VST? I've tried both formats and no luck.

Maybe it just doesn't work with the demo for some reason. It works perfectly with Sonar.

Thanks!

Scott

When I installed it I made sure that I put the Samp VST plugs folder in as where I wanted the VSTi installed (same one as the one I had previously selected in Samp under Options/Paths.

Then when I opened Samp and set my track to MIDI record and went to select the VSTi it was lsited as one of the available ones and I opened it and it just worked fine.
