>I am unable to load halion patches, and loading banks hangs samplitude

I've just fixed a bug, which prevented correct loading for VSTi's with many

parameters, which probably also concerns Halion.

I'll try to test this in the next days.

Guest Volker

I've tested this now:

-You already can load fxp/fxb files with Halion's own mechanism in 7.02

(also the demo, but this still has the original 7.00 problems...). Just use the

"Import Audio" command and select the fxp/fxp options there.

-The bugfix now in 7.1 allows to load the banks with the Samplitude

menu command, too. It also fixes the missing restore of patches when

loading a Samplitude project. It not only applies to Halion but other

plugins too.

Additionally the window resizing when switching the pages works

again now (and better than in 7.0/Demo).

Thanks Volker

I've managed to get things going in a fashion for now.

There does seem to be a lot more work needed in the VST`i area in general IMHO before it becomes a truly universal audio app.

A bit of a culture shock for me perhaps!!

Never mind I will work at it.

A Desperate Plea!!

I know demo features have to be limmited BUT at least could I be allowed to save the basic audio/ midi setup.

It takes ages (10 minutes) to setup the demo each time to my machine configuration.

One of many small questions?

Why is the contribution of vsti`s not showing here in any VU displays in the mixer ?

Regards
