Renaming a WAV used in a VIP

Hi,

I have a VIP with several tracks. When I recorded them, Samp gave default names to the WAVs, like MyVIP9181.WAV, MyVIP9182.WAV etc.

How can I rename the WAV to a sensible name (like Snare.WAV) and still keep it in place in the VIP? Up to now, I had to recreate the objects in the VIP after renaming the WAV.

Any ideas?

You can safely do it direct in your VIP. My daily bread.

Click to object representing appropriate HDP file and from context menu use "Wave Editing". Rename and quit. Done.

BTW: you must save VIP after renaming wave file.
