i cant seem to get samplitude to prompt me to enter my serial number, so that an unlock code, etc can be generated. I've installed the 7.1.2 that came in the crossgrade box, it simply says my serial is 00000000, it works fine but i'd really like it to ask me for my actual serial # so that i can dl 7.2! it looks to be great. already mailed the unlock address but figured maybe someone on here might know a trick? already checked the install.log and deleted all the .dll's and registry entries left over from a previous install, as wel as win.ini and sam7_e.ini...

Seems you have unlocked it before with a so called keycode generator. I´am afraid, you have to reinstall your windows in a new partition and install Samplitude again from scratch.

right, unlocked it with a keygen, decided it liked it so much i had to buy it. but now i cant even use the legal version without reinstalling windows? cant be. there must be a dll that can be wiped away somewhere or something i can fix with a cmd line or regedit...i ran ntfilemon and noticed it was accesing some stuff in D:\windows\Registration but maybe thats just COM stuff, not sure.

Think also a reinstall is the only solution. They have indicated, that the patches check also for a keygen installation after some days and disable some deep routines, causing buffer failures and other nasty things. Maybe you will also run into such trouble with the new patch, if you don´t reinstall your OS.

Pixel are you still there? Did you have to rename yourself? I did what you said and my serial is still entering by itself and it's not the right one. Very strange. is there another thing to delete? I can't register. Tech support seems stumped.
