Hi,

Inobject editor when a DirectX plugin is use (say Delay) how can it be made to play its time duration FX after the loop is played?

As soon as the loop is played the delay FX is suddenly ended. Am I missing something?

Big Thanks David.

Thanks both of you,

I do get ur point and yes they do work.

Maybe I did not explain myself clear .............. and I'm so sorry.

What I'm trying to achieve is.........

I got a 2bar snare hit repeated throughout the song......its like a loop.......

I want to add some reverb/delay to some of these hits......... not all of them.

When I do this I hear the reverb/delay but it stops reverberating once it reaches the other loop...it doesn't tail.

I know it tails if there is no loop or waveform next to it but is there something i can do to make this tail happen?

This style of music I'm trying to do is Reggae/Dub...

One Love

David.

Hi David,

yes ...I see...

I would take a second track for the hit and place one after in each different track.

Cant think of any other idee.

Or maybe...did you trie the track freece or bounce ..than the reverb should go into the next objekt when you set fx post

Regards

Big thanks Bro,

I did your first suggestion....i knew it will work......currently I use Nuendo and I do the same procedure....but just thought Magix would do it better ;)

Big Thanks.......

My next step will be the V8

Thanks Magix

This may be a bit round about, but you burn the reverb onto one of the hits as an "off-line edit". That way you have two samples, one with reverb and one without. Then you place them as you wish on the same track.
