Hello,

there are differences:

1. in Sequoia you can monitor the dither applied in real time.

2. Sequoia can handle 12channel wide busses (Surround) instead of 6 channels in Samplitude

3. Sequoia has an additional level of Markers that attach to the Audio rather then to the timeline and more options for Marker handling.

4. Sequoia has the ability to copy, paste, store and manage Multiobject contexts in the so called clipstore.

5. Sequoia has a multiuser interface and can store 5 context sensitive Crossfade presets, per user if wished so. The same applies for the handling of workspaces and Hotkeys.

6. Sequoia has an interface for Metadata

Above that, there are the obvious differences, as DDP Mastering, 4-Point Editing, Impulse response capturing, advanced PQ mastering dialogues, a dedicated scalable preview window for VideoPost, Display of timestamps in the Objects, and many more small things.

Best,

Sebastian Gabler
