Which versions of Sam, if any, have support for .aaf files?

None. Yet.

Can I use the Yamaha DM-2000 has a DAW controller (assuming in Mackie mode)?

Yes. But there is no Mackie Mode for DM2000 AFAIK. The Mode to select is "General DAW".

Cheers,

Sebastian

Hi Jürf,

BWF files recommended. (Samplitude/Sequoia supports BWF) Using OSX you can share them over the Network. If you need EDL support, EDL Convert Pro is recommended.

Cheers,

Sebastian

Then you will be very pleased by the advanced post features in V8. You may even consider Sequoia for post. Sequoia has a couple of very useful features (better key frame preview, Clipstore, Timstamp Display, Audiomarkers (like having indefinte number of Hotspots), Source-Destination...)

Bummfilm ( Bernd Das Brot) use Sequoia for that reasons.

Cheers,

Sebastian
